The Zhou Lab is committed to pioneering cutting-edge membrane technologies to address critical global challenges such as climate change, water scarcity, and resource depletion. Our mission is to drive the sustainable production of green hydrogen, ensure reliable water supplies, and enable efficient resource recovery through membranes with precisely tailored physicochemical properties. Our research is centered on two core pursuits: unraveling the fundamental transport mechanisms under nanoconfinement and engineering membrane structures at the molecular level. By translating these insights into practical solutions, we aim to support the transition to a circular economy and build a resilient, carbon-neutral energy infrastructure for a sustainable future.
